Dark, headless, medium to high carbonation. But before I get into the details, let me tell my story: Mrs. Spike and I went to Dave and Buster's for an evening of fun. I saw they had root beer at the bar and wanted to take a few bottles home...I was drinking something stronger at the time, you see (let me tell you, they don't skimp on the alcohol in their drinks!) The bartender would not sell me unopened bottles of their custom root beer. In a drunken rage I grabbed her by her tie, pulled her over the bar, and as the place looked on in horror I... Ok, I didn't really do that (even though she really did refuse to sell me the root beer unopened). Next time we were there for dinner I asked at the front desk for some and they were happy to oblige. After all that I wish I liked the root beer better but I don't. It has that candy-ish taste I really dislike. Nothing outstanding about this root beer, though it is nice they went through the trouble to pour some generic canned root beer into bottles. Wait, I lied. There is one thing different about this root beer. The label says the bottle contains "35.5 ml". That's a little more than an ounce. Since the bottle also says it contains 12 ounces (though I didn't measure it, there does seem to be more than 1 ounce in the bottle), what they really wanted to print was "355 ml". So I nitpick...sue me. With the proceeds from the suit you can buy this root beer, which gets a C-
